Discussion about the Canadian National award plaques about exhibitors have not received them or if they had the quality was very poor. Van is working on those issues. AHA memberships have declined from last year. The Modern Arabian Horse magazine is looking at cost saving ideas, option for next year would be a discount of 10-20.00 off your membership if you don’t get the magazine, many families have multiple members and don’t need that many magazines. National shows have added a number of new classes, AHA sent out the announcement to members. Patronships for nationals may include different amount levels, hoping to bring more participating. AHA Show fees have increased. Motion was made for GAGT show fees to increase to 18.00 per horse. Motion carried. Sweepstake point amount should not have been announced at convention as explained by Dean M. The point amount going forward will be close to same as 2009, appx. $10.00 per point. A new sweepstakes program launching , Stallion Service Auction. There will be an eblast shortly from AHA. The newly formed Reg 10 club of Sioux Falls had reps at the meeting.
