Secretary’s Report: Linda Pasicznyk- Approve minutes. Newsletter discussion. Some members are not receiving notices via email list, Cathy Johnson and Laura Nielson. It was suggested they email Jeff
Rutz.

Treasurers Report: Mary Munger – Transition is taking place. There will be supplies and miscellaneous items needed. A supplies line item may be created.

Membership Report: Mary Florke –no report

Presidents Report: Chuck Rickart – Region 10 has approved the South Dakota Club Reg 6 to become Reg 10. Next Region 10 meeting will be first part of March. Chuck handed out info on Arabians Unplugged Circuit with a draft of the open shows. For detailed information contact Laura Mickelson at lauramickelson@aol.com or 651-423-5871. Chucks understanding that a booklet of Arabian Unplugged information will be sent out.

Vice Presidents Report: Jeff Rutz- Chuck Rickart Website discussion

Committee Reports:
Dressage: Barb Watson absent no report. Chuck spoke with Jan Halter regarding the status of old ring, she has it and will list it this spring. The new ring will be ready for the Get To Together, most of the material has been purchased.

High Point – Linda Pasicznyk – Brief discussion on the revision of the new Reporting Forms. In an effort to increase our highpoint program as well as attendance at the banquet ideas was discussed on how to go about doing. One suggestion for increase banquet attendance is to subsidize the member’s meal if they are enrolled in MHAHA High point program. Discussion will continue.

Royalty – Tami Bagley – One of many roles of the royalty is to submit a summary of what’s happening or
what they have done to the Spotlight. Ayla will send in a write up for next issue.

Shows and Rides: GAGT – Rachel Spry has secured the Get Together judges. Volunteers are needed as always, Rachel passed out a signup sheet. A ringmaster/mistress is needed. The Sponsorship form will go in the newsletter, possible eblast, and on Face book. In the past Jeff and Chuck solicited businesses from Sauk Center, which was successful. Chuck will work with Jeff for a date to Sauk Center. Post cards will be sent out the end of March.

Promotions: No report Expo update at the March meeting

2010 Schooling Shows – Spring Show- Cathy will follow up with Kirk. Fall Show- Tami working on judges. In addition there will be class sponsorships available, this is new. All schooling show results will be put on our website.

New Business – The club sent a memorial to the Rutz’s family in January. The club has received a thank you card from the Rutz family. Discussing a bad debt from an exhibitor last year at the GAGT for shavings. Many attempts to collect from exhibitor have been made with no success. Motion that our club payoff the bad debt to Mary (Sauk Center)youth club. Motion carried.
